I recently found out that some of the more negative reviews about Royalty Akitas posted to Yelp.com are hidden under the heading of “other reviews not currently recommended” down at the bottom of the page in small print. I did some research to find out why and found out that there are two primary reasons for hiding unfavorable reviews. First, the person posting the Yelp review does not post very often; in other words, they are an infrequent Yelp user and are therefore determined as not being credible. Second, if the company being posted about is a Yelp advertiser, then they are less likely to keep the negatives postings in plain sight.
Shame on Yelp for hiding the truth!
