I just put down one of our dogs. I bought him from Royalty Akitas in Lincoln, CA. He cornered my 3 year old child and bit her arm. I've had my Akita for going on 5 years. I spent a ton of time working with him trying to work out his aggression towards people. From the beginning he had genetic problems. It cost me about $5,000 dollars to have it resolved. So far its been the worst experience with an Akita in our family's 30 year run with the breed. We've had some difficult dogs but never like the one we purchased from Royalty Akitas. I am very disappointed and broken hearted.
As our family reads these stories, we feel that we can connect with a little of all of them. We’ve had 3 dogs from Don and problems with each one.
